Team Massachusetts will begin its pursuit of a high school national championship on Wednesday, July 1, at Charles Schwab Field, home of the College World Series in Omaha, Neb.
Massachusetts will open the High School Baseball National Championship Series against Arizona, a team loaded with D1 commits to schools like Stanford, Indiana, Arizona, Utah, Loyola Marymount, Oklahoma, Miami, BYU, Arkansas, and Alabama.
Check out the Massachusetts roster, which includes 16 Class of 2027 graduates and one Class of 2028 graduate. Braintree High coach Bill O'Connell will lead a staff that also includes BC High’s Steve Healy, Walpole’s Chris Costello, and Bridgewater-Raynham’s Cam Fox.
O'Connell shared his thoughts on Wednesday's starting pitcher as well as the Game 1 lineup.
