It’s almost time to say goodbye to the regular season. One-and-done is right around the corner. June 3 marks the beginning of the postseason, but each team still has a game or two left to help determine playoff spots and seedings.
Trinity, which has held the top spot all season, locked up the No. 1 seed in Division 1 and will get a ticket straight to the quarterfinals. Spots 2-6, however, are completely up for grabs, as five teams have either four or five losses. In Division 2, Hollis-Brookline will secure the top seed if it wins its final two regular-season games.
Not much has changed in the latest installment of the rankings, as the top four teams hold position, and spots five and six simply swap places. However, two teams dropped out of the poll, making room for two entries. One of those spots has gone to a preseason top-three team that has regained its form. The other was awarded to a Division 2 team with a knack for knocking off the favorites.
