The first week-plus of the Massachusetts high school baseball season is now behind us. Just about every team across the MIAA has gotten its season underway. There have been head-turning results as well as high-flying offense so far, not to mention some command pitching performances.
With that, there's plenty to unpack from the early going. Some early title favorites have had some ups and downs, while other sleepers have come out flying to begin the year.
A quick peek ahead to next week's slate shows several key matchups to watch, too.
