The Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) season kicked off this week for the majority of teams in the state.
We are previewing some of the conferences that have produced recent champions, continuing with the Catholic Conference.
The Catholic Conference produced an MIAA D1 state champion as recently as 2024, when BC High beat conference-foe St. John's Shrewsbury in the state title game. The conference regularly lands a handful of teams in the D1 tournament, including a couple close to the top of the rankings.
