We're just about past the midway point of the regular season in the MIAA. Soon enough, the state tournaments will be here, and it'll be an all-out sprint to the finish.
The regular season is set to wrap on May 25, with brackets releasing on May 27 and tournaments beginning on May 29. The anticipated state finals will be Friday, June 12, and Saturday, June 13, at Polar Park in Worcester, Mass.
Before any of that, there's plenty to unpack from the season so far. Which teams (or prospects) have been as good as advertised? What have some of the pleasant surprises been? What's going to happen down the stretch?
