LAWRENCE, Mass. – North Andover scored four total runs across two regular-season losses to Lawrence.
On Monday, the No. 20 Scarlet Knights scored five in the second inning alone after notching a pair in the first, opening a 7-0 lead as they cruised to a 9-0 upset win over the No. 13 Lancers in the Round of 32.
Dylan Lawrence got the start for North Andover, tossing a complete-game, three-hit shutout with 10 strikeouts. The senior also added three hits (two doubles) and drove in three runs at the plate for the Scarlet Knights (17-6). Senior shortstop Zach Faro had three hits with two RBI, while senior first baseman Jake Jackson also added three hits.
