The Cape Cod Baseball League is back.
Another summer in the oldest amateur league in the country began with a full five-game slate on Saturday afternoon and evening. The 40-game regular season continues through August 2.
Players from all of the nation’s top college programs descend upon the Cape each summer, but there is always a crop of New England standouts who get an opportunity to showcase themselves.
Below is a list of all New England natives and college players on Cape League rosters, which is tentative and subject to change throughout the season. Per new league bylaws, complete rosters were not made official and contracts were not designated as permanent or temporary until opening day.
