Many of New England's top prospects in the Class of 2027 and 2028 earned roster spots for the Boston Red Sox Scout Team at the New Balance Future Star Series Labor Day Classic.
The event will be held Sept. 6 and 7 at Dunkin' Park in Hartford, Conn. The Red Sox Scout Team will compete with two other MLB scout teams -- representing the Arizona Diamondbacks and Toronto Blue Jays. Of the 28 prospects on the Red Sox Scout Team roster, 23 are from New England.
Fourteen of NEBJ's top 50 prospects in the Class of 2027 and three of New England's top 24 prospects in the Class of 2028 earned roster spots.
