A summer in the Futures League represents a first step on the college baseball path for many familiar and soon-to-be familiar faces around New England.
This special All-NEBJ roster covers the top performances among the region’s rising college freshmen during the 2026 Futures League season, with all seven franchises represented around the diamond.
The league’s latest crop of rising talent was strong, including out-of-region players headed to schools like Mississippi State, Coastal Carolina, Kansas State, Rutgers and USC. Additionally, New England native pitchers Kaiden McCarthy (Chester, Vt./Tennessee commit, drafted by Atlanta Braves) and Aidan Cochrane (East Lyme, Conn./UConn commit, signed with San Diego Padres) were among four commits who were drafted and/or signed professionally this summer.
Now, we present our 2026 Futures League New England All-Rookie Team. Like all of our All-NEBJ squads, these players must hail from and/or play their college baseball in New England.
