The conclusion of the summer baseball season has resulted in a spike in college commitments for prospects in the Class of 2027.
Of the 200 prospects in the Class of 2027 to make college commitments, 120 announced their plans in July or August.
Bishop Hendricken (9) has more commits in the Class of '27 than any other high school or prep program in New England with nine. Loomis Chaffee (Conn.) and Winchendon School (Mass.) have six each, while Belmont Hill (Mass.) and Trumbull High (Conn.) have five each.
Among travel programs, North East Baseball has the most commits with 16. MVP New England is right behind with 15. GBG Northeast (12), Nokona (9), Baseball U CT (8), and Wow Factor (8) are next in line.
To which schools are New England's players committing? Stonehill leads the way with 11 commitments. Rhode Island (8), Brown 6), and Northeastern (6) are next at the D1 level. At the D3 level, Salve Regina has the most with seven, while Williams College is next with five.
