The Aug. 1 recruiting landmark has inspired an influx of college commitments, mostly for New England prospects in the Class of 2027. We'll get to those tomorrow.
Today, we'll highlight six prospects who pounced on offers in the opening month of recruiting for prospects in the Class of 2028.
The majority of August commitments for '28 prospects have been to Power Four Conference schools, so it should come as no surprise that the lone New England Power Four program -- BC -- leads the way with three of the six commitments. The three other commitments are to schools outside of New England.
