The lead-up to one of the most significant recruiting dates on the NCAA calendar was fruitful for New England prospects.
As of Aug. 1, college coaches can start recruiting prospects in the Class of 2028. In an effort to prepare for that deadline, New England college coaches seemed to prioritize finalizing their Class of 2027 recruiting classes.
A total of 15 New England prospects committed to D1 schools in the last two weeks. That marked a 20 percent increase in D1 commitments among New England prospects in the Class of 2027.
