There are now 68 New England high school prospects in the Class of 2027 with college commitments, after two prospects announced plans this week.
Last year, we had 55 college commitments by New England prospects in the Class of 2026 by the end of June. That number jumped to 120 by the end of September.
The high schools leading the way with the most ’27 commitments are Belmont Hill (Mass.), Bishop Hendricken (R.I.), Brunswick School (Conn.), and Dexter Southfield (Mass.), with three each. The travel ball programs with the most ’27 commits are North East Baseball (NEB) with eight, Clubhouse Evoshield and MVP New England with four each, and Boston Prime, CT Grind, Connecticut Baseball Club, Northeast Lions, and Nokona Baseball with three each. The colleges that have landed the most New England prospects include Northeastern, Brown, UConn, and Rutgers with four each, as well as East Carolina and Notre Dame with three each.
