The summer travel ball season is prime for college recruiting, as many Class of '27 prospects will make commitments before Aug. 1, when the NCAA allows coaches to begin offering opportunities to Class of '28 prospects.
Some Class of '27 prospects recently made commitments while the spring season is still fresh. Many more will let the summer serve as the springboard to offers.
Before the rate of commitments picks up significantly, we want to close the book on spring commitments.
