Things are beginning to take shape in the Maine Principals’ Association (MPA) baseball landscape.
With most teams finishing their regular season schedules next week, there hasn’t been too much movement since our last top 10. Class A favorites like Mt. Ararat, Oxford Hills and Bangor haven’t skipped a beat. The same is true in Class B, where Ellsworth has a firm grip on the field.
But there was an interesting result from Wednesday’s slate that shuffled the middle of the top 10 and introduced an entirely new squad that is putting the pieces together at just the right time.
Here is our final top 10 of the season before the state tournament gets underway, which is slated to begin on June 9 and culminate on June 20 with championship games.
