WESTWOOD, Mass. — In any given game Bishop Feehan plays, chances are there's a towering prospect named Brody coming through in a clutch moment.
Only on Tuesday, it wasn't highly-touted, 6-foot-9 Texas commit Brody Bumila playing the hero late. Instead, it was 6-foot-3 junior Brody Alves, belting a two-out RBI single to left to put the Shamrocks up, 5-4, on No. 7 Xaverian in the top of the 11th.
Gavin O'Toole shut the door in the bottom of the inning as Feehan held on to win in a wild, marathon game, surviving a scare after squandering a 4-0 lead in the bottom of the seventh.
Here's a full recap, plus eight standouts, from the MIAA thriller.
