The Maine Principals’ Association (MPA) baseball season is officially underway, and much of our preseason top 10 is intact. That will likely change moving forward, however.
For now, Biddeford’s title defense is off to a roaring start. The Tigers are 2-0 and are firing on all cylinders. Mt. Ararat and Bangor, two highly regarded preseason favorites, have also proven their mettle.
Still, three new teams have entered the fold — including a Class A North team in the No. 4 spot — with plenty of movement expected to take place in the coming weeks in a field that looks to be wide open.
