The Connecticut high school baseball scene is healthy headed into the 2026 season.
And that might be underselling it. Because across the state’s three premier conferences — the Fairfield County Interscholastic Conference, Central Connecticut Conference and Southern Connecticut Conference — there are Power 4 commits everywhere. Five made our final list, alongside two uncommitted underclassmen who project to join them.
And that’s not even including Fairfield Prep starter Andrew Wong, a towering 6-foot-7 righty committed to Northwestern, who is out for the season with an injury he suffered playing basketball. Norwalk’s Jaxon Ermo (Iona) isn’t going to a Power 4, but he too is a top pitcher in the state who didn’t make our list due to a season-ending injury. The point? The CIAC is loaded with talent.
