The Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) season will kick off next week for the majority of teams in the state (weather permitting).
We will preview some of the conferences that have produced recent champions, starting with the Bay State Conference.
In 2025, the Bay State Conference produced one state champion and another finalist. Perennial power Braintree fell to Chelmsford in the MIAA D1 final, while league foe Walpole ousted Reading in the D2 final.
