The pace of college recruiting will pick up in the coming months as high school and prep prospects return to the field. With some teams slated to kick off the schedule this weekend, we want to provide analysis on the 56 college commits in the Class of 2027. Connecticut is home to the most '27 commits, with 26. Massachusetts is next with 19, while Rhode Island (5), Maine (3), New Hampshire (2), and Vermont (1) all have five or fewer.
Belmont Hill (Mass.) and Dexter Southfield (Mass.) have the most '27 commits with three each. Austin Prep (Mass.), Avon Old Farms (Conn.), Bishop Hendricken (R.I.), Brunswick School (Conn.), Canterbury School (Conn.), Fairfield Prep (Conn.), Loomis Chaffee (Conn.), and Trinity (Conn.) have two commits each.
At the club level, NEB leads the way with seven commits in the Class of '27. MVP New England has four, while Boston Prime, Clubhouse CT, Connecticut Baseball Club, CT Grind, and Nokona have three each.
As for where New England's top prospects are landing, Rutgers has received the most commitments, with four. UConn, Northeastern, East Carolina, and Notre Dame are next with three each. Here’s a look at all 56 college commitments in the Class of 2027.
