The parity and competitiveness of the ISL were on display in the second annual ISL Tournament last spring, when the top three seeds fell in the opening round.
It's nearly impossible to predict how ISL teams will finish at the end of the regular season, much less before Opening Day. Nonetheless, we'll give it a shot here with a preseason ranking of the league's top 10 teams.
Elite pitching stands out as we attempt to forecast how teams will fare. Most of the top-ranked teams have multiple D1 arms on the pitching staff. Even the teams at the bottom of these rankings have multiple college commits on staff.
