The first week of August saw another uptick in college commitments, as it was the first week that Class of 2027 prospects could accept offers from D1 coaches.
Despite the importance of that date for '27 prospects, there is still plenty of recruiting happening for prospects in the Class of 2026. Of the 17 college commitments on this list, 15 are players in the Class of 2026. Ten are D1 commits.
In addition to our rolling list of college commitments, we are in the process of drafting our end-of-summer riser series, highlighting the high school prospects who have improved their respective stocks this summer.
For now, here's a look at 17 New England prospects who committed to college programs in August.
