Team Massachusetts will be fighting an uphill battle in pursuit of a national championship today when it attempts to bounce back from yesterday's 5-2 loss to Team California in the Stinger Sports National Championship Series in Omaha, Neb.
The Massachusetts squad will need to beat both Louisiana (11 a.m.) and Georgia (5 p.m.) on Saturday in pool play matchups to advance to the semifinals on Sunday. The tournament's championship game will be played on Sunday evening.
Team Massachusetts is one of 12 statewide All-Star teams vying for a national title. The other states include Arizona, Hawaii, Kansas, Nebraska, Florida, Michigan, Oklahoma, Texas, California, Georgia, and Louisiana.
