With the quarterfinals and semifinals in the rearview, the finish line of the 2026 MIAA season is in sight, as champions will be crowned at Polar Park this Friday and Saturday.
Naturally, there are more standout performances to highlight from the postseason, be they dominant two-way performances, clutch homers, extra-innings heroics or shutdown pitching.
This marks the end of our weekly peak performers from the MIAA season. It was a lot of fun taking stock of the biggest performers around the state in a given week, and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. This season had it all, including several perfect games. Off the top of my head, I can't recall one, let alone multiple, in the previous two seasons of roundups.
