The Central New England Prep School Baseball League (CNEPSBL) offers arguably the best collection of prep school talent of any NEPSAC postseason tournament.
The No. 1-ranked team in New England Baseball Journal’s end-of-season power rankings has come out of the Central New England Prep School Baseball League in six of the past seven seasons.
Phillips Andover held that distinction from 2018 to 2022, before CNEPSBL-foe Worcester Academy earned the top spot in 2023. Avon Old Farms, out of the Founders League, was New England’s top team in 2024, although Deerfield Academy was a close second. Dexter Southfield regained the CNEPSBL's hold on New England's No. 1 spot last spring after winning the league tournament.
