With a recent wave of new college commitments, we now have 65 New England high school prospects in the Class of 2027 who are planning to play beyond high school. That number will continue to climb rapidly in the coming months.
Last year, we had 55 college commitments by New England prospects in the Class of 2026 by the end of June. That number jumped to 120 by the end of September.
The high schools leading the way with the most ’27 commitments are Belmont Hill (Mass.), Bishop Hendricken (R.I.), Brunswick School (Conn.), and Dexter Southfield (Mass.) with three each. The travel ball programs with the most ’27 commits are North East Baseball (NEB) with seven, Clubhouse Evoshield and MVP New England with four each, and Boston Prime, CT Grind, Connecticut Baseball Club, Northeast Lions, and Nokona Baseball with three each. The colleges that have landed the most New England prospects include Brown, UConn, and Rutgers with four each, as well as East Carolina, Northeastern, and Notre Dame with three each.
