Four New England prospects have been selected to the Northeast regional team’s roster for the Area Code Underclass Games.
MLB scouts have selected 200 of the top high school prospects in the nation to compete for eight regional teams in a five-day showcase in Long Beach, Calif., from July 31 to Aug. 4. Scouts from all 30 Major League teams and top NCAA coaches will be in attendance.
The Northeast team's roster includes 22 players from the Class of 2028 and three players from the Class of 2029. All four New England prospects are in the Class of 2028. Three attend high school in Connecticut, and one in Massachusetts.
