Many of New England's top high school prospects competed in the 18U Perfect Game WWBA World Championship earlier this month in Jupiter, Fla. Three New England-based teams — the Boston Red Sox Scout Team, NEB Rays National, and Clubhouse Evoshield – earned entries among the 121 teams from across the nation.
The Jupiter event is the marquee showcase of the fall season; college coaches often round out their next two incoming recruiting classes at the event.
The event includes mostly high school seniors, although top juniors and sophomores can also earn invites to 18U rosters.
