As a freshman at Hollis-Brookline High (N.H.), Eoin Sheehy liked what he saw at St. Paul's School, just a 40-minute and change car ride from his Hollis home.
"My biggest reason for attending St. Paul's is I wanted to be a part of a close-knit community,'' said Sheehy, set to begin his senior year at the Concord, N.H., school. "I always felt that I thrived better when I was closely connected with those around me. When I toured St. Paul's, it was impossible not to feel the strength in community that the school represented.''
After reclassifying as a freshman, Sheehy was on board at St. Paul's. He is now a three-time Lakes Region League All-Star, has been named All NEPSAC the past two years, and this past season earned Lakes Region Hitter of the Year honors.
A two-way player (outfield and left-handed pitcher), Sheehy batted .385, with a .468 OBP and a 1.097 OPS as a junior. He also recorded 15 RBI, scored 18 runs, and swiped 13 bases. On the mound, Sheehy tossed 37 innings, netting a 4-2 mark, fanning 40, while holding down a 2.83 ERA.
