For 20 seasons, Bryan Brissette has guided the Suffield Academy baseball program as head coach. This past season was his last in that capacity, as Brissette made the difficult decision to turn over his head coaching duties.
Former Suffield standout catcher Conor Hawkins will take over as head coach, while Brissette has committed to one more year as an assistant.
Brissette's overall record (from 2006 to 2025) as head coach with the Tigers is 182-120, including two WNEPBL championships, five Cleary Division titles, and 13 WNEPBL postseason tournament appearances.
A native of Burrillville, R.I., Brissette was a catcher at Harvard University, where he earned Second Team All-Ivy League honors. Before arriving at Suffield, Brissette served as a special agent with the United States Secret Service. After 19 seasons in charge, Brissette felt it was the right time for him to make a shift.
