Dexter Southfield and Deerfield Academy battled at the top of the Central New England Prep School Baseball League for most of the season, so it was only fitting that those two teams eventually faced off in the CNEPSBL Tournament championship game.
Top-seeded Dexter came out on top, posting an 11-5 victory over No. 2 Deerfield. However, Deerfield got the better of the postseason awards, with six all-league selections to Dexter's five. The two programs combined for 11 of the 24 all-league selections in a six-team league.
CNEPBSL coaches made these selections at the conclusion of the season, with each team recognizing a team MVP along with its all-league selections.
