There are just two weeks left until the MIAA tournaments begin. The playoff fields are starting to come into focus as teams continue to jockey for position in the MIAA power rankings. That means anyone's standout performance means that much more for his team's chances these days.
This week's highlights feature a pair of no-hitters, some video-game-like two-way performances, and some heroic relief efforts.
Throughout the season, we’ll run a weekly watch list each Friday, recognizing standout performances across the state. As a friendly reminder, attending every high school game in Massachusetts is impossible, so we rely on reports from coaches and social media accounts to select the performers in a given week.
